Who We Are
Dallas Best Artworks is the brainchild of Simon K. Ntobi, who belongs to Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Ntobi was born on August 11, 1970. After completing his Bachelor’s in administration and Political Science, he served in the corporate world for many years. However, during his time in corporate life, Ntobi developed an undying passion for handmade artwork original paintings. Such interest finds its roots back in the unconventional childhood of Notbi.
Ntobi hails from a family of well-known artists and designers who has composed some of the most notable and highly acclaimed best wall art and wall art canvas painting ideas of their time. Under their supervision and visual guidance, Ntobi found it easier to understand the dynamics of the art world and learn the core philosophies governing the creation of artistic masterpieces.
As such, Ntobi is a self-taught artist who hasn’t taken any formal, university-based education in artworks and handmade original artwork paintings. His involvement in art from a young age and his presence at all the exhibitions held by his brother during his corporate career has given him considerable insight into the world of arts. One such exhibition he was present in was the highly successful exhibition conducted in the US Embassy back in Kinshasa in 1983.
Since then, Simon’s life turned a new leaf when he moved to and settled in Dallas in 2005. During his isolated life in Dallas, much of his work focused on his love for creative arts and innovative artworks. Additionally, he devoted his time to the exploration of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. Simultaneously, he has dawn many sketches and taken numerous photographs of wide-open spaces and different lakes. Amongst his preferred spots are the Rockwall areas and Mountain creek.
Everyone, from those in his home country and abroad, has appreciated his talent and the high quality of his artwork. Ntobi took upon himself to sketch the areas in his paintings for the general public that they could not afford to travel and discover themselves. As such, most of the artwork focuses on creating awareness about the Dallas Metroplex and helping the DFW communities discover their neighborhoods in today’s art.
Our Vision
Dallas Best Artworks focuses on projecting Dallas and its unique events/ details through artwork to those who cannot afford the travel expenditures to witness the Dallas life for itself. Likewise, we project the admiration of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex to the outside communities while allowing Dallas Fort Worth Citizens to learn more about their neighborhoods through our artwork.
Our Mission
We are promoting Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex through our high-quality, handmade original paintings to help people appreciate the spectacle around us that we reside in and fail to appreciate adequately. After all, pursuing what we don’t have may blind us from what we have at hand already. Learning to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us can create satisfaction, admiration and pave a path to greater happiness in life.
